This online store specializes in parts for classic and muscle cars - mainly Ford models from the 1960s to 1980s. Their customers are restoration enthusiasts looking for hard-to-find components for vehicles like the Mustang, Galaxie, F-Series trucks, and more. The platform offers a large, regularly updated catalog, flat-rate shipping, and perks through their Gold Card Club. But while their inventory and customer base kept growing, their old e-commerce setup couldn’t keep up. They needed a faster, more reliable platform with real-time inventory and pricing accuracy - plus tools that made it easier for shoppers to find exactly what fits their vehicle.

Approach / Work done

The client's old e-commerce setup had started to show its age. The site looked dated, order handling was clunky, and without real-time ERP syncing, stock levels and pricing weren’t always accurate. That made life harder - for both shoppers and the team behind the scenes.
We chose a BigCommerce-based rebuild with deep ERP integration, aimed at improving speed, accuracy, and usability across the board.

What We Delivered:
  • We moved the site over to BigCommerce, giving it a faster engine under the hood and a cleaner, easier experience for both customers and staff. Managing the store became simpler, and the front end now feels built for today’s buyers.
  • We built a detailed, real-time integration with Acumatica to sync everything from pricing and inventory to product details and catalog updates. Historic data was carefully brought over to keep the transition smooth and records intact.
  • To help users find the right part the first time, we created a Product Fitment tool and a My Garage section. Now shoppers can filter by vehicle and save their setups for next time - making the hunt for parts a little less of a guessing game.
  • With accurate compatibility checks and live stock updates, customers can browse and buy with confidence. Meanwhile, the backend stays clean and synced - so the team spends less time fixing data and more time supporting real customers.

Project Results

The new site launched on time and on budget. It’s easier to run, smoother to shop, and built with features classic car fans actually use. Real-time data keeps everything in check, from pricing to availability, while the business can focus on what really counts: helping folks bring old Fords and Mercurys back to life.
