To address these problems, a comprehensive re-platforming solution was proposed and implemented. The existing website was migrated to BigCommerce, a leading e-commerce platform known for its user-friendly interface and robust features. This move aimed to streamline the online shopping process and enhance overall customer experience.

A critical component of the solution was the full integration with the client’s Acumatica ERP system. This integration involved a complex data import process to ensure seamless transfer of existing information, maintaining historical accuracy. The new setup enables real-time synchronization of catalog updates, stock availability, and pricing information between the e-commerce platform and the ERP system.

Custom features were developed to enrich the user experience, including a Product Fitment tool and a My Garage section. These additions were designed to cater specifically to the needs of classic car enthusiasts, allowing for more precise part selection based on vehicle specifications.
