Project Overview

With over 40 years of experience and more than 500,000 treatments performed, this national leader in medical aesthetics is a recognized name in the industry. Despite their clinical excellence and strong market presence, their website presented multiple friction points - from limited booking functionality to a disjointed mobile experience. Their old website was holding them back - pages loaded slowly, booking was still handled manually, and the experience varied from one location to the next. On top of that, their marketing tools weren’t fully connected to patient management systems, making it harder to track results and nurture leads. These gaps affected everything from first impressions to long-term loyalty.

Approach / Work done

The project was a full-scope website redevelopment, focused on creating a high-performing, mobile-first WordPress platform. The main goals included enhancing UX, streamline lead generation, and prepare platform for future integrations for online booking and CRM capabilities

What We Delivered:
  • Custom WordPress Setup: configured a clean WordPress setup, installing core components, essential plugins, and a custom theme. The architecture was designed to support modular development and ensure maintainability by the client's internal team.
  • Full Website Redesign: built a custom WordPress site using Gutenberg blocks for flexible content updates, keeping the brand look consistent while allowing for quick changes as the company grows.
  • Modular Site Architecture: using the provided UI/UX assets, we converted design elements into flexible content blocks and reusable components. This ensured consistency across pages while allowing non-technical editors to manage content with ease.
  • Improved User Experience: simplified navigation with a mega menu that includes photos and videos, plus a mobile-first layout for the 70–80% of visitors browsing on their phones.
  • Online Booking Preparation: set up the framework for NexPatient integration, so patients can book appointments without calling, cutting down on manual scheduling and missed opportunities
  • Before & After Gallery: Added a filterable photo gallery to showcase real treatment results, one of the most visited sections for potential patients.
  • Content Migration & SEO: moved over services, procedure details, galleries, and staff bios into a well-organized structure that’s easier to find and optimized for search engines.
  • Accessibility & Compliance: Added ADA-friendly features and CCPA privacy disclosures, so the site meets both legal standards and patient expectations.
  • Version Control and Deployment Pipeline: a git-based workflow was implemented with integration into Jira for task tracking and structured code management. The CI/CD pipeline via Platform.sh enabled automated deployments and simplified environment management.
  • Quality Assurance and Deployment: a detailed go-live playbook and rollback plan were prepared and tested during a dry run, ensuring a smooth transition to production.

Project Results

The replatformed site significantly improved mobile UX, reduced load time, and laid the groundwork for online booking. Navigation was restructured to better educate users unfamiliar with treatment options. Improved taxonomy and URL structure enhanced internal analytics and SEO tracking. The new setup also prepares the business to integrate with CRMs like MyMedLeads and booking platforms like NexPatient. With analytics correctly configured, the business now has more visibility into conversion sources and is better positioned to optimize digital marketing efforts.
