Approach / Work done

The team had to strike a balance: set up a clear, functional B2B presence, keep SEO intact, reuse existing systems, and avoid costly overhauls. The solution was to carve out a dedicated commercial space within their existing BigCommerce site while keeping things familiar for current customers and adding tools and content tailored to large-scale buyers, so we focused on adding just what was needed with minimal fuss.

What We Delivered:
  • Built a commercial (B2B) section under the same domain, anchored by a new landing page linked in the main navigation
  • Created product listing and detail pages designed for B2B needs with clear highlights and a more practical UX
  • Integrated JotForm for 'Request a Quote' forms, automatically pulling in SKUs from product pages for easier ERP processing
  • Set up separate navigation menus for B2C and B2B visitors, so users land exactly where they need to
  • Added CMS pages for common use cases: think hospitals, cashier stations, warehouses, etc - to help buyers see products in context
  • Kept everything under one BigCommerce instance with the Cornerstone theme, preserving SEO rankings and speeding up deployment
  • Provided guidance on product and category setup so Let's Gel’s team could handle uploads and updates themselves

Project Results

The new commercial section went live right on schedule - just ahead of a major industry event. With it, Let's Gel introduced B2B capabilities without touching the smooth operation of their residential side. The quote request system gave sales teams a simple way to manage leads, and the branded design kept everything feeling cohesive. The commercial landing page and category structure now serve as a strong base to build on, giving the team room to grow their B2B sales and explore deeper features down the road. By staying focused and using what was already working, the company launched a commercial presence that spoke directly to large buyers without overcomplicating the backend or blowing the budget.
