The client’s legacy B2B portal had become a major limitation - slow, inflexible, and unable to handle the demands of a growing product catalog and complex pricing rules. The goal was to build a modern, technically sound platform with strong integrations and room to scale.

What We Delivered:
  • We migrated the entire platform to BigCommerce B2B Edition, with a focus on leveraging its API capabilities to build a scalable, fault-tolerant infrastructure. This allowed the system to support complex B2B features and high data volume reliably.
  • The client’s legacy ERP managed over 200,000 SKUs and used dynamic, margin-based pricing. We implemented real-time, bidirectional integration to keep product data, inventory levels, and pricing accurate and synchronized across all channels.
  • To support advanced B2B workflows, we enabled custom pricing, quick order capabilities, and detailed account management using BundleB2B. These tools aligned closely with how purchasing teams operate and reduced manual overhead for both sides.
  • We built a dynamic frontend experience that adapts to the user type - guest, retail customer, or B2B account holder. Each user sees only the relevant products, pricing, and options, streamlining the purchase flow and improving clarity.

Project Results

The replatforming effort significantly improved both system performance and operational efficiency. ERP integration now handles high-volume SKU and pricing logic without errors or lags. By deeply embedding API-driven features and BundleB2B functionality, the solution removed previous constraints and gave the client a reliable digital infrastructure ready for long-term B2B growth.
