Approach / Work done

The company faced challenges in providing a convenient online purchasing experience for their global distributors and service technicians, particularly in making it easy to find and order replacement parts guaranteed to fit specific equipment. They also needed a platform capable of supporting future growth and B2B website development, all within tight budget and timeline constraints. To address these issues, we implemented several solutions.

We created an integration with a mobile application used by service technicians and developed a custom experience on the product detail page. This allowed users to select parts by browsing a parts diagram and adding them to the shopping cart from the same screen.

We chose BigCommerce as the e-commerce platform, utilizing a marketplace theme as a foundation for customization and branding. By making targeted customizations to the platform, we successfully met all of the client’s goals. The implemented solutions provided an improved online purchasing experience, simplified the ordering of compatible replacement parts, and laid the groundwork for future growth of the B2B website. Importantly, all of this was achieved within the tight budget and timeline set by the client.
