Approach / Work done

The Client has requested that the Agency audit their website in preparation for an upcoming NetSuite ERP implementation that will be integrated directly with their Shopify store. The primary objective of the audit is to identify any legacy features, applications, and codebase that may negatively impact customer experience and business workflows, with a particular focus on inventory management.

The client has reported significant differences between the actual inventory available at the warehouse and the inventory accounted for in the books. This issue can cause significant problems for the business as the client is planning to implement a new ERP system soon, and they are worried that this issue might get replicated in the new system. This can further complicate the troubleshooting process and have an adverse impact on the business.

Our agency employed a comprehensive research approach, encompassing stakeholder interviews, thorough data flow investigations, code audits, and a meticulous examination of both public and private Shopify apps. Additionally, a high-level evaluation of the website’s front-end performance, technical SEO metrics, and basic UI/UX was conducted.

Project Results

Through a detailed audit, a critical functional gap was identified as the root cause of accounting discrepancies. Addressing this gap emerges as a pivotal step in resolving issues related to inventory management. Its resolution is essential not only for ensuring data accuracy but also for facilitating seamless integration with NetSuite ERP.
