Manual QA Engineer

We’re seeking a Manual QA Engineer to join our team. In this role, you’ll work closely with our developers, business analysts and project managers to ensure high-quality delivery of web ecommerce projects. You’ll be responsible for planning and executing manual tests, validating integrations and APIs, documenting defects, and helping the team release stable, user-friendly solutions.

What You Will Do

• Review functional and design specifications to ensure a full understanding of individual deliverables.
• Identify test conditions, design High-Level and Low-Level test cases, execute and evaluate test cases, and report test results.
• Hold and facilitate test plan and test case reviews with cross-functional team members.
• Identify any potential quality issues per the defined process and escalate potential quality issues immediately to management.
• Provide validation and verification of User Stories (deliverables).
• Isolate (root cause analysis), replicate, and report defects, and then retest defect fixes.

Your Knowledge and Skills

• Over 2 years of experience in manual testing of web/desktop applications.
• 1+ year of experience working in the ecommerce domain with platforms such as Shopify, BigCommerce, Adobe Commerce (Magento).
• Experience in integration testing with ERP, WMS, OMS or similar systems.
• Experience in API testing (REST).
• Understanding of ecommerce business processes, scenarios, and use cases for both customers and sellers.
• A clear understanding of potential cross-browser/platform issues and the tools necessary for testing them.
• Basic knowledge of client-server architecture and database operations.
• SQL proficiency: Desirable but not required
• In-depth knowledge of SDLC, STLC, defect life cycle, QA (Tester) role in SDLC
• Knowledge of various testing methods, approaches, and types.
• Knowledge how to use Test design techniques in practice
• Hands-on experience with tools such as Jira, Google Sheets, BrowserStack, Postman, Figma, etc.
• Understanding of quality criteria for software requirements.
• Experience in creating tests and test documentation (checklists, test cases, bug reports, test reports, etc.).
• Experience in conducting manual tests and reporting on their status.
• English Intermediate (B1)
